NLA International has a rich history of projects throughout its years. We led in large scale events providing workshops, vendor markets, and speakers that were duplicated by others. We even had an international contest circuit once.
We published statements on censorship, consent, and legislation.
Today, we focus our energy on the core things that have always made up the NLA. We focus on awarding excellence, establishing grass-root clubs, helping others create educational events, and teaching others
the difference between abuse and BDSM.

We offer several types of memberships. Commercial, Affiliate, and Independent Member. We also offer discounts to those Commercial and Affiliate members that agree to provide a discount to our general membership. Our desire is to help your company or association succeed and to be supported by our members.

We are always looking year around for authors, artists, and activists to consider for our annual LIL Awards.
We initially started with very basic person awards in 1987. We then expanded our awards in 2006 to encompass writers. In 2019, the NLA Board agreed to expand those awards once again to focus on artists as well. The idea was that by doing so, we would recognize excellence across our entire culture. Authors, artists, and activist.
We invite you to take time and go through our awards.

Donations for DVP, or LIL Awards are always needed and tax deductable. In our shop, you can purchase extra pins, patchs, and other items to demonstrate your support for our causes. You can even pre-purchase a membership for someone special in your life.
